Several years ago I wanted to make a short film that was a cross between “The Office” and “Star Wars.” I wrote the script, got access to sets, started casting actors… and then life caught up and the project was never finished. In the mean time, I designed these images as a series of T-shirts that the characters in the office would wear.
If you don’t get that last one, and seriously want to get your geek on, read this article about the Endor Holocaust.

I think so… she doesn’t quite have that “guy in drag” quality that the last one did.

Another attempt at a decent face
For some reason, I’ve decided that I finally want to draw really well. I always messed around with drawing as a child, but never progressed to a point where I was decent at it. I also had several friends growing up who were EXCELLENT artists. Here’s my beginning attempts at learning. I’m teaching myself so far, but I find the process quite enjoyable. By the way, this was done on a Wacom Intuos 4 Medium tablet, with Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. I cannot recommend either tool more for the beginning artist.

I’ve got to admit: WordPress is one of the best and easiest site managing tools I’ve ever tried. I rebuilt all of the project pages using the built-in WordPress framework, and the whole site is looking a lot more “professional.” (I put it in quotes for a reason.)
Also, I added a teaser about the next project I am going to post… coming soon, I hope. Before 2011 is over, at least.

Errr… or something like that.
Welcome to the new site format. I’ve finally moved into the 21st century and put WordPress on ryanVision. Maybe we can put some useful content here at some point as well.
